Royal Horse Guards Realised

These are DK figures which came as a trade all the way from New Zealand (thanks Matt!).
Some were painted, others part painted, I've just finished them off to my usual 'that'll do' level with the aim of getting a couple of armies on the table by Christmas (can't guarantee which year though!)

    1. Thanks Matt, the plumes are one of the significant details that stand out from 3 feet away across the table. Hope they intimidate the French opposition!

    1. Thanks Stryker, just need to get my Scots Greys done and hopefully some Life Guards if I can acquire some to make an effective Heavy Brigade.

  3. That's some hefty sword those lads are waving. Wouldn't want to be in the way of tgat charge!

  4. I think those swords deserve an extra +1 on melee dice throws.

    Cheers

  5. Splendid unit, Sir. One of the few Guards units that may be underrepresented.

    1. The Scots Greys are probably my next British Cavalry unit up for re-furbishing, possibly one of the most over-represented bodies of troops, but what the hey!

  6. An imposing looking unit.

We will have to arrange a game before Christmas so we can both get our figures on the table.
