On the scrounge!

 Hi all,

I'm looking to complete my British artillery teams and I'm short of 4 x H1and 4 x H2 gun horses, plus 3 x BN28 drivers. If anybody out there has any of these spare I'd be happy to trade and / or purchase. They don't seem to come up on Ebay very often, if ever. Alternatively, if anyone can suggest compatible figures from other ranges that would be awesome!

    I very much doubt I'll be able to help, but I could at least check if you could post photos of the code you're looking for - that would also help when it comes to suggesting alternatives.

      Thanks for this Rob, looks very tempting, but for now I have decided to downsize to 2-horse teams, which makes a lot more sense given my very limited playing space, so I actually don't need any more British gun teams or drivers. When I say "don't need" what I really mean is I need, need, need these but I'm going to try and be sensible for once and not bid. Those US postage costs are stupid, plus I've been caught out by import duty when buying figures from US sellers in the past.

      Hi Rob, I'm well thank you, hope you are too. I've just realised it's 8 months since I last picked up a paintbrush. I really must buck my ideas up. I might take some pics of progress so far to add to the blog.

      I decided to stick with two horse teams given my limited playing space, plus I didn't want to get drivers and limber riders then have to wait until the appropriate draught horses turned up. You know how it is with ebay, you always get not quite enough or way too many of the castings you want.
